Free outdoor dancing & Lindy Hop taster class at The Mound

Join us at The Mound (next to The National Gallery) for some outdoors dancing to live music this September. This event is FREE and forms part of Edinburgh Lindy Exchange 2019, however, is open for all to attend (you don’t need an ELX ticket). This year we are joined by the newly formed and very amazing, Stompin’ at Summerhall, playing live for our dancing pleasure. The dancing will be preceded by a Lindy Hop taster class for absolute beginners from 12.15pm - 12.45pm. So, if you have always wanted to give Lindy Hop a try, or if any dancers want to share their love of swing dancing with non-dancing friends and family, then this is a great opportunity for a first foray into the joy and fun that is Lindy Hop. With a bit of luck we will have glorious Scottish sunshine, but if the heavens do open we’ve been known to dance in the rain. ☔️ Bring a brolly just in case!
