I don't play Malerba's orquesta that often. It's not because I don't like him: Malerba is perfectly enjoyable to dance to. Apparently his orquesta was commissioned by Radio Belgrano to play in a D'Arienzo-like rhythmic style. Perhaps due to this, Malerba's style is rhythmic, but it is more chilled than D'Arienzo, and very comfortably danceable. It's just because we have such a short milonga, and he doesn't quite make my must-have list in this short time-frame.
