El Destino with Extended Class by Tomas Corbalan and DJ Ciko

There's an unusual tango treat at Solas this week - Tomas Corbalan from Buenos Aires will teach an extended class from 5:00 - 6:30pm to start out the evening, followed by an hour of guided practice time, concurrent with the milonga's start. Tomas is magical and will transform your tango. This class is: One concept, One technique, and One sequence, all "for milongueros" -- dancers who want to learn or perfect elements that can be used in a milonga, on a crowded floor such as Solas. We're also delighted to have the always creative & vibrant DJ Ciko on the decks, with Michelle (and hopefully Tova too) as hosts this week! This week's special pricing offers a discount on the class & the milonga together: $25 for 5-6:30pm Class with Tomas $45 for Class + Guided practice hour + Milonga $25 for Milonga only, 6:30-11:30pm $5 Discount off of these prices for full-time students with ID Your admission for the milonga comes with a drink ticket that is good for a happy hour cocktail, beer, wine, or a soda with a refill or two water bottles.
