Camina Banda is a Cuban band based in London. Their line up is Cuban and Colombian and they play classic and contemporary Cuban styles. Camina Banda play all around Europe as well at the legendary Ronnie Scott’s club. Very happy that they will be bringing their Cuban fire to El Swing. The evening kicks off with a salsa dance class led by the wonderful Yamile and DJ sets from your resident selectors spinning the hottest new salsa dura to the deepest, classic Fania and all the amazing stuff in between. The DJs (on rotation): Johnny G, Dave Hucker, Carey Lyseight and Gerry Lyseight have hosted some of London’s most legendary club nights: Sol Y Sombra, Salsa Fusión, Latin Swing at Wessex House, Mambo Inn, Villa Stefano, as well as lighting up Notting Hill Carnival with the Latin Rave Sound System.
