About this Event
- Kia ora Taranaki dance tribe -
Calling all dancers to this magical full moon dance. Which will be my last dance offering in Taranaki for a while!
Luckily I will leave you in good hands and yes I will be back for regular dance visits.
We will be dancing barefoot on the earth surrounded by the community on the precipice of this upcoming Virgo full moon at the stunning Tatararimaka.
Under the light of this full moon it is time to clear away the clutter, and make our spaces and bodies a stronger reflection of the person we are becoming. This is also a time for wrapping up and releasing those karmic ties and Saturnian lessons for good.
You are invited to tap into your fullest creativty and come dressed as the biggest reflection of yourself that you can vision at the moment.
You are also invited to bring something to place on the alter that represents all the learnings dance has offered you. And something to place on the fire of what you have burned through already to be here at this time on this dance floor.
There is also a choice afterward to stay for shared kai. If you are staying. please bring a plate of food to share, and your own plate and cutlery.
Cost: $20.00 cash on the door.
And if funds are an issue at this time please DM me direct as I can always use a hand with set up.
Time: 6.00 - 7.30 pm Dance
7.30 onwards shard kai.
Where: Tatararimaka.
Embodied Ecstatic dance is a guided freeform movement journey, held in a safe and sacred container.
A space to gather and reclaim the joy and release of dancing in a non-judgmental space.
The recipe is simple: No booze, no shoes, great music, and an epic tribe come together to dance. Don't worry about steps or form or how you look, it's not that kind of dance. Our dance is one that throws the rule books away and instead encourages you to release to the music and let go of that pesky judging mind.
