Welcome to Embodied Intimacy's Summer Camp... for adventurous adults! 😎 This 2 week relational laboratory is the grand culmination of our work together — all the workshops we've led, all the schools and trainings we've done, and all the deep breaths we've taken have led us here, for this 1 magical event that we get to share with you — our community. We've been waiting years for this, and it's finally here. 🧘‍♀️Deep Work + Ecstatic Play 🤸‍♂️ We believe in the power of combining deep work and ecstatic play. We will dance, play and explore together, all while bringing more and more awareness and love to what's happening in relationship to one another. We will play with our edges to both go within and reveal ourselves, as well as experiencing ecstatic bliss and innocent, child-like play. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦‍‍‍ Authentic Community Building ‍‍‍👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 We will build a culture of trust by speaking the truth. We will care for each other's hearts and experience the solidarity of knowing that we're all the same boat. You will experience unity by seeing yourself mirrored in everything and everyone. This is a safe environment in which you are invited to bring your deepest longing and deepest fears of connection. Here we can coexist in a delightful mix of attraction, aversion, grief and gratitude, and more. Whatever arises will be loved and welcomed with open arms. Our shared aliveness, zest for life, and powerful self-expression will create an acceleration chamber for growth and transformation that won’t leave a single soul untouched by the wonder of living in this electric human body. The place is located at Bråviken's southern beach, opposite to Kolmårdens zoo, 20 km from Norrköping and 150 km south of Stockholm. The scenic and undisturbed location provides space for both silence and experience. Here you will find forests, meadows, cliffs and a long beach, as well as a delicious apple and cherry dale. Nature grows wild and grow in a harmonious synonym filled with oaks, books, linden, chestnuts and silver pine trees. Through the area goes Via Amorosa — The Love Trail, where you can wander with new or old friends. Dorm style accommodations are included in the price of your ticket. You will sleep indoors in a beautiful, clean space on a bed. You will need to provide your own bed sheets and towel. There is no tent camping on this property. Are room upgrades available? If you would like to upgrade your room you can handle this directly with the property. If you want a single room it is 300 SEK extra per night or part of a double room 150 SEK per person per night. What type of food is provided? Also included in the cost of your ticket is 3 meals per day with tea and snacks. A variety of beautiful, delicious food will be prepared by the chef. Vegetarian, Vegan, and Gluten Free options are all available. What is the recommended travel to the Venue? It is recommended that you fly into Stockholm Airport (ARN). From Stockholm Airport you will take train or bus to Norrköping (Arlanda C - Norrköping C). A driver will pick you up from the Norrköping station and bring you to the Skeppsudden venue. 🏡 The Hosts 🏡 Buster Rådvik is a dancer, teacher, facilitator and somatically-focused psychotherapist. He is the co-founder of Embodied Intimacy, founder of Embodied Intimacy’s Year-Long Training and a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist in private practice since 2008, specializing in individual, couple and group therapy for trauma and attachment related issues around intimacy, sex and relationships. He is also the primary therapist at the Khiron House Trauma Clinic, a residential trauma clinic in Oxfordshire, England. Buster believes that the body is the pathway to liberation. Rachel Rickards is a teacher, producer and relationship sorceress. As a producer she’s worked with organizations like the Golden Globe Awards, Polypalooza, The School of Tribal Tantra, SoulPlay and IntimacyFest. In 2015 she co-founded Emodied Intimacy, a thriving community of people interested in building relational intelligence through hands-on relating and experience-based education. Rachel also brings a passion for alternative relationships by helping people find their truth in the way they want to love and be loved. She has been featured on Showtime’s “Polyamory: Married and Dating”, she was selected to be part of Tamera’s Global Love School and has spoken all over the world about open relating, love and sisterhood. 🦄️ Our Special Guest Facilitator/Musician 🦄️ Dave Booda is a writer, musician and social entrepreneur. He is the founder of TEDxCardiffbytheSea, co-founder of IntimacyFest, and he writes weekly essays at boodaism.com about relationships, creativity and happiness. He is the host of Darken the Page, a podcast about the creative process and he also moonlights as his alter-ego Boodananda, a spiritually satirical Kirtan singer who travels the world performing high-vibrational music for enlightened audiences. 👨‍👨‍👧‍👦‍‍‍ Assistants & Support ‍‍‍👩‍👩‍👧‍👦 We will be joined by a big, beautiful team of assistants. This assist team is comprised of the core of our Embodied Intimacy Community. These individuals have spent the last year training with us in the Embodied Intimacy Training program. Together they help us hold an incredible space of love and transformation with a large skillset and ability to know what is needed in the group or personal field. We live in a word that teaches us how to read, write, calculate and solve logical problems but we aren’t taught how to love and be loved in a way that fits the unique shape of our heart. Embodied Intimacy is a partnership founded by Rachel Rickards and Buster Radvik that teaches workshops, seminars and retreats for thousands of people around the world. The work asks participants to show up and reveal themselves authentically — to take risks in vulnerably and let others see you as you are.
