Embodied Vision Quest Dance Camp

A day-long dance camp to find your clarity, confidence, and connection to your highest self.
The goal is to give you movement practices to unlock your personal truth, intuition and reclaim your inner dancer.
This dance camp is for you if:
💕You want to deepen your relationship to your body through dance and nature.
💕You want to unlock certainty and truth and learn how to dance for answers
💕 You want to gain more tools to hone your personal energy so you have more to give to your community and the people in your life.

Your Guides:
April (Axé) Charmaine (she l they) is a multi-disciplinary artist and global movement leader. Axé (ah-shay) identifies as a Queer-Afro-Diasporic artivist carrying lineages from Ghanaian Dance, Symbology of The Orixas, SomaSourceⓇ, 5 Rhythms, Horton, Dunham, Limon, Laban, Ballet, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Spoken Word, Guerilla Theatre, and Performance Art. Axé is an award-winning entrepreneur, holistic dance and performing arts educator; director; choreographer; performance artist; creative writer; Unschooling mama; motivational speaker; and light empowerment guide.
Rachel Leigh (she/her) is a Colorado based dancer. She is a progressive educator, school-leader, and artist, advocating for radical inclusivity and freedom. She believes trauma-informed embodiment and dance experiences are powerful tools for the transformation of individuals and communities. Rachel specializes in social dances including Brazilian Zouk, West Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, and Salsa. She guides young people and adults through workshops that leave students feeling more self-aware, creative, and collaborative.
💕Who is For Lovers of Dance?!
Inner Route Education is collaborating with SOL VIDA to bring this dance camp to life. Both organizations are deeply rooted in progressive education and expressive arts. Their founders are both former public school teachers, passionate about disrupting oppressive systems. They bring decades of experience facilitating dance and wellness events across the globe serving over 25,000 combined.
