Embrace - AKC Qualifiers!

Brisbane, it is YOUR TURN! You have seen the hype of the qualification in other cities around Australasia, and now it is our chance to put our city on the map!) We are hosting the qualifier in Brisbane for the 2nd Annual Australasian Kizomba Competition (AKC). The main event will be held at the AWAKE festival in March 2020, and if you win the qualifier in your category, you have the chance to compete for the National title! Last year we are very proud to announce that Maddie & Horacio won this competition and became National Champions for the AKC! This was very exciting, and this next year proves to be an even bigger event, with TWO categories: SEMBA/KIZOMBA or URBAN/FUSION! We are proud to support this event with the intention to push the level in Australia for freestyle social dancing in our favourite styles of the Kizomba umbrella. With such a great event, comes the need for a special judging panel! So rest assured, we have you covered with the incredible talent coming to our city to judge & share their knowledge! 💃 Hannah Melder (Perth) 🕺🏿💃 Chris & Amanda (Sydney) You will have the chance to participate in a mini weekender, with great intensive workshops held by interstate artists, epic DJ's and an entertaining showcase where you can support your friends competing!
