Emerald Swing 2023

After a long hiatus, Emerald Swing returns for 2023! After a global pandemic and national shortage of venues, Emerald Swing runs again from October the 20th to the 22nd, and we're shaking things up once more. For The Emerald Interlude, we shifted to an open class track without levels. This time, we don't have tracks at all - you have eight hours of classes to choose from between twenty-four different options. Our website collects all of the most important information into one singular place for your consumption, but here's the short list: Two evenings of dancing, each with a mix of DJs, live bands, tasters and social competitions Two days of topic-focused classes across three venues, all within walking distance from each other Classes are taught by Erol Akinci, Johan Selander, Maria Margot, Lauren Smith & Peter Flahiff, as well as some guests Content includes but is not limited to Balboa, Collegiate Shag, Lindy Hop, Solo Jazz, improvisation, connection, breaks, musicality and more Optional addons include a unique t-shirt design, and a whiskey tasting during the evening after the "main" event ends.
