Ecstatic Dance Pittsburgh presents: EMERGENCE ft. DJ Damiana Even in the stillness of winter, there are quiet stirrings of life expanding and contracting beneath the surface. As the earth begins to awaken into spring, so too will the seeds within us—dreams, ideas, and transformations are waiting to emerge. On the dance floor, we invite you to embody this emergence with each step, to nurture your roots and stretch toward the light. Ecstatic Dance is a freeform, expressive movement practice where participants are invited to dance without choreography, allowing the music to guide them. It offers a unique, judgment-free space for physical exercise, emotional release, and creative expression. Beyond fitness, it provides a chance to connect deeply with oneself and others, fostering a sense of freedom, grounding, and community. Meet the Artists!! DJ Damiana 💫@damiana_music I am Damiana, an ecstatic dance DJ and musician with experience performing at 12 dance events in Miami, New Jersey, Philadelphia, and Bali, with audiences ranging from 20 to 120 attendees. I love creating immersive musical journeys that generate connection, movement, and play on the dance floor. I firmly believe in the power of music as medicine, and I seek to transform, alchemize and heal communities with the sounds I share.
