En Motion Junior Crew En Motion Dance Crew & our elite crew, Los Bravos En Motion One of the most exciting Street Latin Dance Crews in Asia, that has won incredible accolades and awards in its 10-year history Our achievements include - Top 15 Best Dance Crew in reality TV Dance Competition on Mediacorp channel 5 against top dance crews from all genres (hip hop, contemporary) - 3x Asia Bachata Champions - 5th Position in World Salsa Championship Team in 2012 - 2nd Position in World Latin Cup Qualifier in 2013 - 2nd Position in Asia Salsa Championship 2014 Professional Category Click below for some of our team performances: Los Bravos En Motion show in Mediacorp - The Dance Floor https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RsQf4vpqGq0 Dance Production - Odyssey https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OMJ6EwFBCPw Bachata https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukiTnoy-l1E Los Bravos La Rumba https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lumWmBDA5xU Zouk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNT5r5MERGg Basic Requirement for Participants: - Minimum completed Intermediate level classes for either Salsa, Bachata or Zouk - Dance performance experience REQUIRED (can be street latin or other dance genre) - Background of other dances will be a plus point - Liking for Street Latin music & dance and the passion to perform The Selection session will include the following: - Warm up - Stretching - Body Movements, Lines & Extensions - Learning a short routine and displaying it in group Selected Participants will either A) Go through a further 8-week Dancer Training Program (28th Feb - 17th April) that includes training in various Street Latin dance forms like Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Afro-Movements, Brazilian Samba, Reggaeton etc and will prepare for a performance during En Motion Annual Party in June/July 2016 Trainees who excel during the program will be invited to join either the Junior Crew, En Motion Dance Crew or Los Bravos En Motion. These teams will get the chance to participate in International level performances and competitions! Be assured that you will walk out as a better dancer after the 8 weeks program! Or B) Participants who performed exceptionally well during the audition will be invited to join the En Motion Dance Crew or Los Bravos En Motion via direct entry Basic Commitment for Selected Trainees: - Once a week 2 - 3hr training on Sunday Noon or Wed Evening - Once a week attendance for our Tue or Sat Street Latin Nite Actual Team Commitment En Motion Junior Crew - Once a week Wednesday Training in evening 2.5hrs En Motion Dance Crew - Once or Twice a week Training (Wed or Sun) + Social Dance Commitment Los Bravos En Motion - Once or Twice a week Training (Wed or Sun) + Social Dance Commitment If you are interested for the program, join us for the Audition on the 21st February Sunday 4pm - 7pm If you cannot make it on this date, you may write in to us.
