Friday Night We kick off the weekend with dancing at Islands Fresh Mex Grill from 10:30pm-2am! DJ Pete from Charlotte will be keeping us dancing all night! $3 at door - all ages. They have excellent food and if you'd like to join us, we will be eating dinner there at 8:45pm. Kitchen closes at 10pm. They have $1 Tacos! The pier provides coverage for those that don't want to hang in the sun all day. There are also changing rooms, bathrooms and hoses to wash off the sand. Because the Pier is a popular destination - look just north of it (to the left) to set your towel down. There is plenty of parking available at the Pier as well as on the side streets that surround the pier. Meter or Pay Stations - $2/hr Johnny Mercer Pier: 23 East Salisbury Street Wrightsville Bch, NC 28480 3:00pm - we will be heading over to the Wrightsville Beach Park to enjoy dancing, snacks and games! They have sand volleyball courts, tennis courts and a great amphitheater where we will be set up. It is also a covered space! Bring your own sports equipment if you want to play! Free Parking. Check out Historic Downtown Wilmington and all the food vendors, arts, crafts and performances. Katariina and her students will be performing at RiverFest from 10am-11am on the stage in front of the Cotton Exhange. In case you are wanting to get your Shag (dance;)) on - go early and check it out! Salsa Dancing from 11pm - 2:00am $10 cover 18+up DJ Pete rocking it out all night! Performances including Las Mentirosas of Greensboro & Charlotte will begin at 11:30pm! Don't miss them! Sunday Farewell: Enjoy every minute of your time on this beautiful island!
