Endless Summer Step and Swing

ENDLESS SUMMER STEP & SWING is a cutting-edge dance event where attendees will gain proficiency and increase skill levels in both line and partner dancing, with different styles and instructors to choice from. This August, we are excited to have 21+ lessons ranging from beginner to advanced country swing, beginner to advanced progressive two step, line dance lesson including local favorites and California staples to test your skills, west coast inspired country swing, beginner west coast lessons, female styling classes as well as lifts and tricks for country swing taught in a controlled and safe way. There will be multiple lessons going on in different areas of the dance hall allowing you to pick and choose the classes that most suite your interest, dance level, and since there will be instructors from all over the valley as well as other states, you will be able to walk away from this weekend with a whole new skill set. Friday night from 6-9pm and Saturday from 10am-5pm we will be hosting lessons, we then invite anyone interested in joining any one of our dance competitions from 5-8pm. There will be a grading system never used in Arizona, allowing a fair and unbiased winner from a panel of 7 judges. If you do not want to come to the convention (we think you’d be missing out if you don’t) you can still come to the competition and show-case your skills and compete with other dancers in line dancing, country swing with lifts, country swing with lifts, and a beginner level country swing competition (meaning you have not been dancing for over a year). We will hold both prelims and finals on Saturday evening. We will have local videographers and photographers at this event dancing photos. You can also plan to meet with dancers from other states, check out some instructors from other states, and learn more about local instructors and dance groups in the valley.
