Equanimous Ecstatic Dance

We are so honored to be bringing Equanimous to Arcata to celebrate for a night of merriment and movement. Hope you will join us on the 25th! Tickets are $25 and we have a limited amount so please message us if you want to join! Equanimous is a music producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist. He combines elements of downtempo, bass, house, and melodic dance music to create a joyous high vibrational atmosphere on the dance floor. Equanimous expands the electronic music experience by playing live djembe, keys, and beatboxing along with his tracks. He’s known for his deep bass, beautiful melodies, live looping, and creative rhythmic beats that take people into a state of euphoric dancing and heart-centered bliss Although these events have been pushing the boundaries of "ecstatic dance" we do like to try and follow some key guidelines... No shoes on the dance floor No phones or cameras on the dance floor No conversations on the dance floor Alcohol Free Dance floor When we give these ideals our best attempt it tends to create a dancefloor open to honest and earnest movement.
