Instead of playing guitar and sing, we jam with machines together. Regarding our equipment: we have a simple PA, stereo. You are into multichannel audio and can bring your own soundsystem? Cool, tell us about it! The electronic campfire will be a mainly calm ambient jam with low volume, sounds of the nature around us will be audible. Other than these broad ideas, the jam is free and follows the improvisational flow. Groovejam Groovejam means dancing to improvised rhythmic music. The format came into being in the context of our practice of making music for contact jams. We wanted to combine the improvisational flow with the style of dancing that you find at techno events or partys. The Groovejam is a monthly format taking place in Berlin, this is the premiere in the country side. The dancefloor is outdoors. The jam is open for everyone who is interested in contributing music and dance. For synchronization of the electronics we will depend on Ableton link and midi. Day of sharing Different formats of sharing are scheduled for saturday: The dance studio can be used for bodywork, movement and dance exchange. The living room in the house is the space for exchanging on music software & gear. The lake, the woods are there to enjoy. If you are interested in initiating a format, do it; you may also pose a question that is interesting to you and that you would like to look at with others. We are no experts on that topic and want to focus on music, dance and exchange. So if you want to explore the connections between drugs, music and dance, please do it somewhere else. Not here. The next train station is Herzberg (Elster – not Harz!!) and from the you can cycle 15km.The bus connections are not so easy to handle. Formate Das elektronische Lagerfeuer Diese Nacht ist improvisierter elektronischer Ambient-Musik gewidmet. Anstatt am Lagerfeuer zur Gitarre zu singen jammen wir mit elektronischen Instrumenten miteinander. Zur Technik: wir haben eine schlichte PA, Stereo. Du hast Lust auf Mehrkanal und kannst ein eigenes Soundsystem mitbringen? Cool, sag uns Bescheid! Das elektronische Lagerfeuer ist als eine Ambient-Jam angedacht, sie soll dominiert sein von ruhigen Klängen und meistens so dezent, dass auch Naturgeräusche zu hören sind. Darüber hinaus ist die Jam völlig offen für den spontanen Fluss der Improvisation. Groovejam Groovejam bedeutet Tanzen zu improvisierter rhythmischer Musik. Das Format hat sich entwickelt aus unserer Praxis, Contact Jams musikalisch zu begleiten und dem Wunsch, diese Art von Improvisationsfluss mit der ausgelassenen Tanzpraxis wie z. B. auf Technoparties zu kombinieren. Die Groovejam findet als monatliche Reihe in Berlin statt, diese Jam ist die Premiere auf dem Lande. Tanzfläche ist die Wiese des Innenhofs. Wie auch das elektronische Lagerfeuer ist diese Jam offen für alle interessierten MusikerInnen, zum rhythmischen Zusammenspiel ist hier Synchronisation erforderlich, die wir sowohl über Ableton´s Link als auch über Midi herstellen können. Austausch-Tag Für den Samstag sind verschiedene Formate des Austauschs vorgesehen. Im Tanzraum in der Mühle sind Angebote zu Körper, Bewegung und Tanz möglich. Das Wohnzimmer im Haupthaus bietet Raum für´s Fachsimpeln zu Musiktechnik und Software. Oder auch der Innenhof und die umliegende Natur sind für Angebote nutzbar. Die Angebote müssen nicht unbedingt einen Input von Euch bedeuten, ihr könnt auch eine Frage oder einen offenen Raum initiieren. Wir sind allerdings keine Experten dafür und wollen uns auf Musik, Tanz und Austausch konzentrieren. Wenn ihr also den Zusammenhang von Drogen oder Alkohol mit Musik und Tanz erfahren wollt, dann tut das woanders. Nicht hier. Radikalerweise wird auch nur vegetarisch gekocht - bringt Eure mitgebrachte Bifi also nicht in die Küche und verdrückt sie diskret. Kaffee, Zigaretten & Süßes gehen aber schon, es hat ja niemand behauptet dass es ganz konsequent zugeht. Anreise mit dem Auto von Berlin, Leipzig oder Dresden dauert ca. 1,5 Std. Der nächste Bahnhof ist Herzberg (Elster!! - nicht Harz) und dann sind es 15km mit dem Fahrrad. Da die Busverbindungen im Landkreis bis zur Steigemühle nicht besonders gut durchschaubar sind, können wir nach Absprache vom Bahnhof abholen.
