Euro Salsa & Sensual Festival Official 2020 ★★ Hilton Düsseldorf

Dear guests, who have not been at the meeting and who maybe want to join a party or on Sunday. Dear Participants, for those who don’t know me, my name is Max and Im the organizer. In advance there is no need to worry, nothing has happened and hopefully won’t, there is no infection, no quarantine. We are sorry to have to inform you that we will cancel this year’s Euro Salsa & Sensual Festival. It is in our, in my, responsibility as organizer to take care of you and your health. On Thursday we talked with the chief of the Düsseldorf health agency and vice president of the health conference, who assured us to let the festival take place and don’t create a panic, as public life has to continue. Last night the Robert-Koch-Institute, part of the federal health agency, has issued a new recommendation on how to handle larger events. This implies, that larger dance events cannot take place any more, as these are high risk events. We wanted to create an event with great memories for you and a good time for everybody. You know we love what we do, and we always try giving our best. The volunteers, the hotel team, us, everybody involved is always looking forward to the Euro Salsa & Sensual Festival. We want to thank them, as they are really doing great work to keep this event running. We are sorry it has to come to this point, but better safe than sorry. We invested over a year of love, energy and lifeblood in this years Euro Salsa & Sensual Festival. Some open words from me as the organizers point of view when making this decision. A huge amount has been invested to create this event. The new regulations really hit us hard, but they are understandable. The decision was between keep the event running and cover at least somehow some expenses or cancel it. With the new recommendations for the federal government, this decision to cancel was an easy one for us, concerning the health of our participants. If you can, we would really appreciate it, if you can support us this year the following years to come. Next years events will probably be needed to compensate what is lost in this year. If you can manage not to that and support the event and us, so it can happen again, and skip this request, you cannot imagine how much this would help us.
