About this Event
Good news!
We'll have another exciting afternoon of Argentine tango and folklore with Diego Denett on Sunday, the 8th of March!
Here is the programme:
TANGO (a): technique for followers and leaders. Diego will lead individual and couples exercises for increasing stability and comfort. Posture, axis, balance, step, change of weight and accurate 'ochos' will be analyzed and refined during the class. This workshop enables you to sophisticate your technique for both roles in order to feel comfortable when improvising on the dance floor and release your creativity.
MILONGA (b): different elements to have fun in tight spaces and to interpret confidently this music genre. We will begin from the 'Baldosa' (basic 6-step box figure in milonga) and move forward to 'Americana' and 'zig zag'.
ZAMBA (c): basic structure and dynamics of one of the most passionate and beautiful folk dances in Argentina. Open to everyone, no previous experience needed. If you already had one class, this is a chance to further explore how to handle the 'pañuelo' (handkerchief). *Bring a handkerchief and comfortable shoes (you can also dance it without shoes if you prefer).
Classes are suitable for all levels of dancer. No booking and no partner needed, just show up.

Diego Roberto Denett, born in Buenos Aires, is an Argentine tango dancer & teacher. He is known as a dedicated teacher who inspires people to dance, through technical skill, but also through transmission of his own enjoyment, happiness and beautiful energy in dancing. After years of own studies of tango, he started a personal search for the elements he considers fundamental: “elegancia, caminada y la respiración” (elegance, walking and breathing) as a base for a deeper and more passionate communication, all in one safe and closed embrace "Corazón a Corazón."
