EUTS Argentine Tango & Folklore with Diego Denett

Dear dancers, save the date! It's time to Argentine Tango & Folklore! Diego Denett returns to Edinburgh with two unmissable workshops for us! We have the chance to improve our TANGO elements and to explore ZAMBA! TANGO workshop (a): Posture, different ways of walking & elegance. This is a technique class in which Diego will drill us in dynamics and communication between dancing partners. We will also do various exercises to understand better our own body and the body/movements of our partner. ZAMBA workshop (b): Zamba is an Argentine Folklore dance in which a couple dances in circles at a distance with a handkerchief, maintaining eye contact. This is a very elegant and joyful dance and I encourage all of you to give it a go as it is a unique opportunity. Diego will enable us to dance it in less than two hours. We will be surprised. It is the very first time we have the chance to organize a zamba class! Do not miss it ;) Bring a handkerchief and comfortable shoes (you can also dance it without shoes if you prefer). Classes are open to everyone: whether it is the first time you hear about zamba or whether you recently began to dance tango, come along and have a wonderful time with us! He is known as a dedicated teacher who inspires people to dance, through technical skill, but also through transmission of his own enjoyment, happiness and beautiful energy in dancing. After years of own studies of tango, he started a personal search for the elements he considers fundamental: “elegancia, caminada y la respiración” (elegance, walking and breathing) as a base for a deeper and more passionate communication, all in one safe and closed embrace "Corazón a Corazón."
