As both a tango dancer and a tango teacher, she has been mainly influenced by Hernan Obispo, Christophe Lambert and Moira Castellano. In 2004, she spent a year in Buenos Aires for further training in tango then started an international career with different partners. Throughout the years she experimented different techniques and styles of tango. Sigrid is well known and highly regarded for her excellent technique. Teaching technique has become one of her specialities and she is renowned for her pedagogy and her vision of bodily movement. She is very often invited single to teach women’s technique. Her experience as a classical and contemporary dancer enables her to analyse and dissect any movement and understand its subtleties. In her classes she particularly focuses on the development of bodily conscience and connection to the partner. She gets straight to the point and willingly shares her own experience for more efficiency. She encourages women to be more active and gain control of technique and musicality in their dance.
