𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅: 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗕𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗶𝗿𝗰𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 Friday, 29 May 2026 QueerTango Zürich at Chante Clair We are very happy to welcome Alex Pacheco Castillo from Mexico City to QueerTango Zürich. 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗼 has been dancing social tango since 2006 and has been deeply involved in queer, feminist, and transfeminist tango spaces for many years. Through the project 𝗧𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲, 𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘀𝗼𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘅𝘀, they facilitate the learning of both roles and explore tango as a practice for building networks, community, and spaces for social transformation. On Friday, Alex will teach the Double Role All Levels Class at Chante Clair and then DJ the Milonga QueerTango Zürich. Class theme: 𝗕𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆: 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝗿𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 The class will use anatomical and biomechanical concepts to understand how the body organizes itself, and to discover more organic and efficient ways of generating movement in tango. The focus will be on expansiveness as a way to support circular movements.
