𝗟𝘂𝗰𝗶𝗮 & 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲: 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 QueerTango Zürich is very happy to welcome back Lucía Bé & Mathilde Domini to Chante Clair on Friday, 26 June 2026. Lucía and Mathilde are a tango duo whose pedagogical and artistic work explores new ways of inhabiting the embrace and creating dialogue in the dance. Their approach brings together open role, queer tango, role switching, and elements of traditional Tango figures, with communication, bodily autonomy, creative choice, and shared improvisation at the centre of their work. 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲: 𝗗𝗼𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗲-𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 In this Double Role All Levels Class, the focus is on the embrace, body tone, intention, and active listening to build a dynamic, fluid, and surprising sacada sequence. The class explores and expands the possibilities of dialogue within the couple, question hierarchies of movement, and discover new ways of improvising and sharing tango from a queer perspective.
