Ecstatic Dance comes to the Santa Cruz Mountains Wednesday nights beginning in 2020 7:00 to 9:00 PM at Park Hall in Ben Lomond SPECIAL GRAND OPENING EVENT 1/8/20! — DJ’d by Daniel Mollner — Closing sound integration and song by Eric DeAratanha — Custom "ED Hwy 9” stickers for everyone — Free passes for future dances to the first 25 people. Come out to dance and celebrate with us as we move, connect, and express =) ********************* Starting January 8th 2020, we are SUPER excited to bring a weekly Ecstatic Dance to the Santa Cruz Mountains, San Lorenzo Valley, and Highway 9 corridor! We will be dancing in the historic Park Hall building on a beautiful maple floor with a bass-infused JBL PRX XLF sound system. Hosted and DJ’d by Daniel Mollner (with occasional guest DJs) you can expect a fusion of contemporary, conscious bass music combined with global influences, organic, acoustic, lyrical, and emotive tracks…all designed to create a potent and soulful dance journey each Wednesday night. Ecstatic Dance has 3 simple Guidelines: 1. Move However You Wish 2. No Talking on the Dancefloor 3. Respect Yourself, Each Other, and the Space This is a Free Form Movement Space, Guided only by the Music, your own Body, Mind, & Spirit, and those of your Fellow Dancers. You are encouraged to Dance Barefoot, and asked to refrain from wearing Scent, taking Pictures, or being under the influence of Intoxicants. This helps us to drop into the Movement. For some of us, this is a Spiritual Practice. For others it is simply Exercise, or even non-verbal Socialization. For many, it is also our Mental Therapy, and our Heart Medicine.
