Express Yourself - Hip Hop Open Mic

The force of hip hop has been present in Bellingen and the mid-north coast for a long time, but a lot of heads in the area aren’t connected. Express Yourself is about creating a community for singers, MCs, beatmakers and other creative minds to showcase their talent and tracks. The other purpose of the night is to tap into the improvisational art of freestyling. We will have a range of games and formats and plan to do everything possible to make a space where vocalists feel comfortable diving into the unknown.
