Fast Live Music Dance Party w Gaucho

7:00 pm: Doors open 7:10-8:10 pm: Intermediate, Audition Level, and Adventure Classes 8:20-9:20 pm: Beginner Lindy Hop and Lindy Hop Fundamental Classes 9:30-11:30 pm: Fast Live Music Night w/ Gaucho Live Music Band Night (9:30-11:30pm) We gonna keep the WNH 20th anniversary celebration going with an exceptional fast live music night and welcome Gaucho for the first time at our venue! Gaucho is a masterful Bay Area band that combines the influence of gypsy jazz of 1930’s Europe with the rhythmic drive and collective improvisation of New Orleans swing music, gutbucket blues and elements of ragtime. Their sound, a uniquely American concoction, blends instrumental acuity and lighthearted humor that keep their audience coming back for more. As founder, guitarist, and main composer Dave Ricketts says, the band is “in love with the music of Louis Armstrong, Fats Waller and Jimmie Rodgers, as well as the stories, the life styles and the foot steps of hundreds of other great jazz, blues, country and rock musicians that created the sound of American Music from roughly 1900-1950’s” —————- Reminders: -We only allow class series drop-ins on the 1st and 2nd weeks of the month. -We don't allow students to join the Taster lesson after 8:30 p.m. to ensure that all participants have heard safety tips at the beginning of the lesson. -Masks will be optional except for classes where teachers prefer to keep them on. Masks are optional during the dance. WNH will continue to provide masks and hand sanitizer.
