Annie Stefan brings Professionalism, Experience and #Paris to the Dance School! With over 30 years of Professional Teaching and Performance Experience, Ms. Stefan was KizombaCT's very first Dance Instructor in 2015. Much of her training was obtained at La Sorbonne, in Paris, France. Annie resides in Connecticut and Paris and is able to maintain a high level of contact with us here in the states. Ms Stefan has enabled Kizomba Hartford to create a real link to Kizombers in Paris. ABOUT ANNIE STEFAN Annie Whelan Stefan began her dance training in Paris, France. She received her diploma in teaching and performing, Advanced Classical and Contemporary Dance ,from Schola Cantorum, Paris, France. Annie holds a degree in Choreography from L’IPAC, Paris, and holds a B.F.A. from la Sorbonne University in Paris, France. Annie has taught dance for the past 25 years. Kizomba is Annie’s love, which she adds to her repertoire of other African, Ballet, Ballroom, Latin and Urban dances as a Teaching Artist. In 2018, Annie was named Master in Residence at Studio Kizomba Connecticut. Annie Stefan offers high level accreditation training, cosmopolitan style and serious pedagogy for leads and follows, amateurs and seasoned, & young and older Kizombers.
