February 3rd Swing Dance on the Stour

February 3rd Swing Dance on the Stour Canterbury’s regular swing dance club returns for the third time in 2026 on Tuesday 3rd February at the atmospheric riverside Mooring Cafe & Bar, home to the Canterbury Punting Company. This evening we will be starting the evening with a basic jive class. Featuring a great mix of Big Band Swing, Jump Jive, Boogie Woogie, Gypsy Jazz, Early Rhythm’N’Blues, Western Swing, Hillbilly Boogie, Broadway and Movie Melodies, Latin, Exotica and Calypso from the 1930’s to the 1950’s. No strict dress code but vintage style is always appreciated. Free entry, though any donation to the running of the evening is always welcome.
