February Tea Dance

Get ready for our first tea dance of 2024! We are excited to welcome DJs Tracey and Ellen 🤩 DJ Tracey: Tracey loves old-school swing, groovy tunes, bluesy female vocalists, and is very partial to a hot trumpet solo. After spending most of her disposable income on attending swing dance festivals nationally and internationally, she’s collected a tune or two, and she's confident she can make you want to STFO. She also owns more than four books on the history of jazz and swing music! DJ Ellen: Ellen has been swing dancing for 14 years with an emphasis on Collegiate Shag, and has partied to fabulous music all over the world. She will happily spend precious weekend time rummaging through the really dusty records in the backs of flea markets, on a quest for treasure. Her jam is fast tempos but there’s joy to be found at all speeds - if it makes feet happy then it’s on the playlist! There will of course be tea & cake, 3 hours of social dancing and friendly faces all around. As always, everyone is welcome, regardless of style or ability, so whether this is your first tea dance or your fiftieth, please come along and join us on the floor.
