An exciting new collaboration between world-renowned FERNANDA GHI and one of Europe's favorite dancers SILVIO GRAND makes this Saturday's El Encuentro the place to be! Admired and respected for her boundless creativity, her elegance and grace, her passion to explore every facet of the art of Tango, FERNANDA GHI has appeared on stages around the world for the last three decades. She has been a judge at the Mundial in Buenos Aires and at ATUSA. She has performed for heads of state and, we are humbled to say, for El Encuentro since it started 27 years ago. She is acknowledged as a true master teacher!! Knowing how exacting Fernanda's standards are, it will be exciting to witness her collaboration with her new partner SILVIO GRAND, also a seasoned teacher and performer on what promises to be a historical night. Please make every effort to be on time when Fernanda & Silvio teach the pre-milonga class at 9pm. At 10pm DJ Derek Tang opens his library to bring you his always impeccable selections of tandas. At midnight, the lights go up as Fernanda & Silvio come onto the Tango Room floor to thrill and inspire you with their dancing. In between tandas enjoy our delicious dancers buffet.
