DJ Apokryphus brings a contemporary Indigenous voice to his ecstatic dance sets, drawing on multicultural musical sounds infused with elemental and shamanic soundscapes-- and this set will be honoring the New Moon too! Growing up in the lands and waters of Páhto and Nch'i Wána (Mt Adams and Columbia River) has entrenched a deep connection with PNW landscapes that inform his tribal and elemental worldview. In his sets you can expect contemporary sounds such as downtempo, tribal, Latin, funk, Afro, house, and bass; all infused with elemental and shamanic soundscapes; sounds that beckon the dancer on a journey towards inner knowing and conscious connection.
