We welcome back OG dancefloor space-maker DJ BonBon Spirit! Always a treat, BonBon weaves a dynamic ROCKING journey into each of their sets, and have been making people dance for decades. Lucky Us! Come dance! Remember Dance Starts at NOON! Warmup begins at 11:30 Doors will remain open for entry until 1pm,--please arrive before then. Dance entry is $15-30, sliding scale. Bonbon Spirit (aka PJ) is a DJ, Music Remixer, and Event Producer in service of conscious movement, drawing on their own practice of ecstatic dance and contact improvisation for inspiration. PJ has DJ'd for 600+ dance events since 2010, and is the Resident DJ at Ecstatic Dance Corvallis and Founder of Breitenbush Ecstatic Immersion. PJ is known for their eclectic and wide-ranging musical taste, and even more so for bringing some of the latest cutting-edge Bass Music. PJ loves to mix electronic and organic beats, and depending upon the event will play anything from angelic ambient to uptempo electro. To each set PJ brings a rough palette of musical ideas–the final journey is created as a response to what they are feeling in communion with the field of dancers—and always finds a way to integrate a few novel remixes of beloved classics.
