It's time for AUDITIONS at Ferocity Dance Company! ONE AUDITION FOUR POSSIBLE BACHATA COMPETITIVE & PERFORMANCE TEAMS Choose One or Multiple Teams to Audition for: Ferocity Dance Company - Amateur Ferocity Dance Company - Amateur Ladies Ferocity Dance Company - Professional Ferocity Dance Company - Professional Ladies ---------- My name is Kat Arias and I am the Owner and Director of the Ferocity Dance Company, as well as the Director of the DC branch of the Daniel & Desirée - World Team Project. All teams rehearse at the Ferocity Dance Company, located in Falls Church, VA. I pride myself in my hard work ethic, appreciation for, and constant dedication to proper technique, and pushing myself as a dancer at all times. These are things that I push for in all of my dancers: knowing and understanding that dance is far more than choreography alone. I also pride myself in creating a family environment, where people want to come to practice, and your teammates and coach become a second family. Rehearsals for all teams will focus on drills, technique, body action and choreography. All teams will meet weekly starting in January on the following schedule: *******Ferocity Dance Company - Amateur* Intermediate Level and Up Starts in January Saturdays: 10am - 3pm *******Ferocity Dance Company - Professional* Advanced Level & Up Starts in January Sundays: 3pm - 8pm Tuesdays: 7pm - 9pm *The choreographies in these teams may incorporate lifts and tricks In the audition form you will be able to indicate which team(s) you would like to audition for. **Professional Ladies meet during a portion of Sunday rehearsals only *******Ferocity Dance Company - Amateur Ladies Intermediate Level & Up Starts in January Mondays: 6:30pm - 8pm Please Note The Important Levels: AMATEUR (Can Audition for Any Team): Defined as a student or person who does not make a living as a Dance Instructor, Performer, Dance Competitor or Dance Adjudicator and who never receives financial compensation for these activities. SEMI-PROFESSIONAL (Would Audition for Professional Team Only): Defined as a person who receives financial compensation as a Dance Instructor, Performer, Dance Competitor or Dance Adjudicator, but who does these activities on a part time basis and makes the majority of their income in another profession. PROFESSIONAL (Would Audition for Professional Team Only): Defined as a person who receives financial compensation as a Dance Instructor, Performer, Dance Competitor or Dance Adjudicator, and who makes the majority or entirety of their income from these activities. TRAINING Anyone can join the training team as it is a team based on building foundation and technique through choreography, drills, exercises and is especially geared for those that may want to perform one day - audition is not necessary. AUDITIONS WILL BE HELD AT THE FOLLOWING DATE & TIME: Friday, December 21st, 2018 8:00pm - 10:00pm Location: Ferocity Dance Company 900 S.
