In addition to being one of the most prestigious hotels in Istanbul, the hotel has hosted many famous guests. Pera Palace Hotel has become a meeting point for distinguished visitors to Istanbul in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Among these visitors are two famous names: Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and Agatha Christie. Room 101 in the hotel was allocated to Atatürk during his stay in Istanbul.
