Festival du Commun

(ENGLISH will folow below) Le Festival du Commun c'est une fin de semaine de musique, d'ateliers et de good vibes au coeur d'un espace urbain où la nature a doucement repris sa place. L'événement aura lieu toute la fin de semaine du 13-14 septembre sur le site des projets éphémères du Campus MIL de l'Université de Montréal, où plusieurs organismes communautaires en agriculture urbaine occupent ce beau petit bout de terre depuis les 10 dernières années. Ainsi, pour célébrer le 10e anniversaire de cette appropriation citoyenne et communautaire de l'espace urbain, pour souligner le droit à la terre pour tous les humains, les migrants et les paysans à travers le monde, et pour profiter de la nature autour de nous avant la fin officielle de l'été, nous sommes très heureux de vous invitez à la première édition du Festival du Commun!! The event will take place on the site of the temporary projects at the MIL Campus of the Université de Montréal, where many community organizations involved in urban agriculture have been cultivating this lovely little patch of land for the past 10 years. In order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this citizen and community occupied urban space, to promote the right and access to land for all people, migrants and farmers throughout the world, and to enjoy nature within the city just before the end of summer, we wish to invite you to the first edition of the Festival du Commun!!
