Fiesta Habana With DJ Kubanito!!!

It is November and we are ready to have another fun Fiesta Habana, a place where people dance, practice their moves and catch up on life! Twelve years hosting a monthly event that is a safe, fun, welcoming space where dancers share their love for Cuban Salsa and where you meet new people! Going strong since 2012, every second Saturday of the month we bring you a social event that welcomes EVERYONE -from people who have never heard about Cuban Salsa before to our most seasoned dancers in this beautiful dance form, who have been supporting what we do for many, many years-. At these events, you will find people who are welcoming, who share a love for this culture that has so much to offer. Led by one of Vancouver’s most well known Cuban Salsa instructors in Vancouver, Carlos Reyes (born and raised in this beautiful island), and along with his life partner Sara and daughter DJ Mely Flow, we bring you a very unique social party. At the beginning of the night we start with a short class that offers an introduction to Rueda de Casino, a popular dance where all dancers on the floor dance together in a circle. “How much fun is that?”, you may ask yourself… Well, it is A LOT of fun!!! There will be everything from the latest hits from the island (and more!), to the traditional tracks, those that will take you to the golden era of the 90s, where Timba had its biggest 💥! You will also be able to dance to some Merengue, Bachata and Reggaeton. ⭐️ Son Class at 9 pm with Antonio Diaz from Bellingham!! ⭐️ Complimentary 🍷!
