Fiesta Habana With DJ Kubanito!

Our last party of 2025 was a beautiful event! Lots of new faces, two separate classes (Beginner and Intermediate/Advanced), people dancing, mingling with others, catching up… We start off the new year with our genuine, raw, friendly, inclusive, island-inspired fun events, dancing Cuban Salsa. Fourteen years hosting a monthly event that is a safe, fun, welcoming space where dancers share their love for Cuban Salsa and where you meet new people! Fiesta Habana is possibly the longest-run Cuban Salsa Social event in Vancouver, and this achievement is only possible with the support of our students, former and current, our friends, lovers of everything Cuban, and those interested in the Cuban culture who join us month after month. Going strong since 2012, every second Saturday of the month we bring you a social event that welcomes EVERYONE -from people who have never heard about Cuban Salsa before to our most seasoned dancers in this beautiful dance form, who have been supporting what we do for many, many years-. Led by one of Vancouver’s most well known Cuban Salsa instructors in Vancouver, Carlos Reyes (born and raised in this beautiful island), and along with his life partner Sara and daughter DJ Mely Flow, we bring you a very unique social party. At the beginning of the night we start with a short class that offers an introduction to Rueda de Casino, a popular dance where all dancers on the floor dance together in a circle. “How much fun is that?”, you may ask yourself… Well, it is A LOT of fun!!! There will be everything from the latest hits from the island (and more!), to the traditional tracks, those that will take you to the golden era of the 90s, where Timba had its biggest 💥!
