Fiesta Habana With DJ Kubanito!!!

Thank you to ALL dancers for another super fun Fiesta Habana in May!!! We love seeing new faces at every event, and of course our beloved regulars who like to party!! Last month we celebrated some birthdays, this month… ‼️In June we get to celebrate Carlos’ birthday and dance away as we get ready to enjoy the summer!!‼️ WILL YOU BE THERE?! 🥳🥳 Fourteen years hosting a monthly event that is a safe, fun, welcoming space where dancers share their love for Cuban Salsa and where you meet new people! Fiesta Habana is possibly the longest-run Cuban Salsa Social event in Vancouver, and this achievement is only possible with the support of our students, former and current, our friends, lovers of everything Cuban, and those interested in the Cuban culture who join us month after month. Going strong since 2012, every second Saturday of the month we bring you a social event that welcomes EVERYONE -from people who have never heard about Cuban Salsa before to our most seasoned dancers in this beautiful dance form, who have been supporting what we do for many, many years-. Led by one of Vancouver’s most well known Cuban Salsa instructors in Vancouver, Carlos Reyes (born and raised in this beautiful island), and along with his life partner Sara and daughter DJ Mely Flow, we bring you a very unique social party. At the beginning of the night we start with a short class that offers an introduction to Rueda de Casino, a popular dance where all dancers on the floor dance together in a circle. “How much fun is that?”, you may ask yourself… Well, it is A LOT of fun!!! There will be everything from the latest hits from the island (and more!), to the traditional tracks, those that will take you to the golden era of the 90s, where Timba had its biggest 💥! You will also be able to dance to some Merengue, Bachata and Reggaeton. ⭐️ Cuban Salsa Class at 9 pm with Carlos and Sara! ⭐️ VanSoneros performance! ⭐️ Complimentary water, 🍷, tequila, and maybe we will bring some of that delish rum again! 😉 WHEN: Saturday, June 13th, 9 pm – 1 am WHERE: Passion and Performance Studio (former D2 Studio), 55 W. 8th Ave., Vancouver COST: $20
