Figment Friday: Halloween Ball and Overnight Ecstatic Dance

We wear figurative masks every day. At this Figment Friday we will be dancing in our intentional masks as we reflect on the masks we hide behind in our daily interactions. Who are you really? Join us as we share the fruits of the season and prepare for the introspective space of the winter. Let's come together dressed as our favorite avatars and dance our intentions. We will also be drinking tea, hanging out in Steve Miller's old studio, dancing until sunrise, enjoying a sacred fire, watching live painters, camping, enjoying late night workshops, and watching fire spinners. To celebrate, we will no longer be charging a parking fee and have changed our ticket price structure to sliding scale ($25 - 1000). Bring your instruments to contribute to the magic. Price: FREE PARKING SLIDING SCALE TICKETS: $25-1000 When we have more energy we are able to make the event better and better each time. It allows us to invest in more traveling artists, add more sound and lighting equipment, and give local people the space and resources to bring their passions and dreams to reality. 20% of profits also go directly to supporting Pacifica, our beautiful nonprofit hub of art, music, nature education for children, and community. As always, the guidelines for ecstatic dance are there are no shoes and no talking on the dance floor. Please respect yourself and others. No photography on the dance floor and if you want to take photos in other areas, please ask consent (we will have a professional photographer roaming around taking picture of the event, but not anyone dancing). This is also an alcohol and drug free event. This is a family friendly event. No smoking in the building or right outside the doors.
