About this Event

For the first time ever, enjoy a Figment Friday without the need to vacate at 9am!!!!! It was only 50 years ago that Woodstock worked to bring us peace, love and connection in a time of great social unrest. We find ourselves today in similar circumstances. In a world of distraction and trauma, the times we live in demand that we come together and dance. Dance for a better world and come to the epiphanies we are meant to have. We each have a special role to fill in this world, and the only time is now to start living up to our highest potential. On this weekend, on the other side of the country, people tried to gather to keep the spirit of Woodstock alive. They faced resistance from counties in New York and Maryland and were denied permits to bring people together. This edition of Figment Friday is called Southern Oregon-Stock to pay homage to this festival, along with some our most loved festivals in this region who have suffered the same fate. Woodstock was more than a music festival, it was a movement. Let us come together in the love of ourselves and each other to heal the wounding of our culture. At this Figment Friday, we will be dancing, stargazing, drinking tea, watching live painting, doing yoga, immersing ourselves in sound healing, drinking cacao, and listening to local musicians who are making an impact in our community through their art. Please stay around to enjoy the property and presenters on Saturday. We would like anyone who would like to contribute their energy to the property to join us in a labyrinth building ceremony. The day is open to contribution for music and workshops. If you would like to give a love offering, please email [email protected]. As always, the guidelines for ecstatic dance are there are no shoes and no talking on the dance floor. Please respect yourself and others. No photography on the dance floor and if you want to take photos in other areas, please ask consent (we will have a professional photographer roaming around taking picture of the event, but not anyone dancing). This is also an alcohol and drug free event. This is a family friendly event. No smoking in the building or right outside the doors.
