About this Event
Harvest season is upon us and it is time to come together to celebrate a great year. In this edition of the Future Fallacy of Figment Fridays we are continuing our collaborative and intentional experiment.
Our intentions for more beauty, silliness, art, community, growth, dancing, learning, compassion and expansion were set and we are holding the vibration of change and harvesting the fruits of our labor.
This time we want YOU to contribute your creative energies. “How can I do that?” you may ask. Well my friends we’d love you to bring a delicious vegan dish to share, a poem to read, a song to play, a costume to wear and anything else you may think of. Our kitchen is a blank canvass for you to set down your premade vegan dishes (Please bring your own bowls and utensils or be prepared to share with a friend!). Our late night open mic is the perfect opportunity to unwind and show our community your inner beauty.
Throughout the night we will have the lounge area open for connection, noms, and tea service in the top loft. Don’t worry; there will be 4 hours of dancing.
The guidelines for ecstatic dance as always are there are no shoes and no talking on the dance floor. Please respect yourself and others. No photography on the dance floor and if you want to take photos in other areas, please ask consent. This is also an alcohol free event.

Why are we doing this event?
We see an amazing opportunity to expand the arts, music, sustainable living, community building, and so much more at Pacifica. This event is an opportunity to bring people in to see the amazing gift that Pacifica really is and inspire folks in the community to bring their heARTS and passions to spread the magic. We envision the space becoming a place where people come to co-create, learn, and have fun. The space could definitely use a lot of love and energy to be brought to its full potential and we want to hear what YOUR vision is and how YOU want to help plug in.
We hope to transform the former apartment space into a gallery, kombucha cafe, and place to provide healthy vegan snacks. We’d love for Pacifica to be THE premier place to hang out.
Some amazing things about this community center:
Pacifica is 420 acres of partial natural wilderness, pasture lands, 5 ponds, numerous hiking trails, a disc golf course, and two buildings that can be used for events and immersions.
Pacifica has a world class recording studio that was once owned by Steve Miller. Our team has been working to bring her back to her old charm with new technology to provide the community with a place to affordably record their music.
Education is an integral piece to our commitment to the community. Pacifica currently offers an outdoor school for children that teaches them science, art, and music.
Pacifica is also home to Forest Farm, a plant nursery that provides native and exotic plants to the country. They currently carry 5,000 different species and have been in operation for over 40 years.
