Figment Fridays Overnight Ecstatic Dance for the Earth

Our planet and our communities need us. We are shifting out of the shadow of winter and into the light of spring. Allowing our limbs and old ideas to thaw out and make room for new growth through our dance. People have been dancing for the Earth, for All Life, and the Future for countless generations across cultures and geographic spaces. We invite you to gather with us at Pacifica to Dance your prayers, dreams, and vision on this special piece of land— transforming thought and intention into being through action. Individual intentions and vision woven together in intentionally held space. For ourselves, our families, our communities, the WErld. It’s time to plant seeds and really get our hands dirty with a work party on the land beforehand in order to really ground in and get connected with our Earth mother. We also want to invite folks to come early and stay later on Saturday to enjoy the hiking trails and the 20th Anniversary/Earth Day Celebration for Pacifica. As always, the guidelines for ecstatic dance are there are no shoes and no talking on the dance floor. Please respect yourself and others. No photography on the dance floor and if you want to take photos in other areas, please ask consent. This is also an alcohol and drug free event. This is a family friendly event. Schedule 5:30 Doors Open 6:00 Yoga 7:00 Song Circle with Leora Borealis 8:00 Contact Improv with Amma Roseavalon 9:00 Opening Circle – It’s important to us that everyone on the property attends the opening circle. This energetically allows for us all to ground in the dance and intentions we wove together throughout the evening. 2:30 Late night activity TBA 7:00 Clean up and clear out of the Cedar Center to make room for Pacifica’s Anniversary event to set up. There will be no sleeping in the Cedar Center this time. 8:30 Clean up and clear out of the Club house/Apartment space. We want to be cleaned up and preparing to set up for the next fun event 9:00 Serious cleaning party. Please have all your personal belongings out and help us put the space back together. 10:00 Opening Circle for Pacifica’s 20th Anniversary celebration. We’d love to invite you to stay for this event and enjoy the property’s hiking trails. Other activities: Tea Lounge, Vegan and Organic Food Truck with Ferryn Caldwell, Healing space, Live painters, Sacred Fire in the Sky Lodge, Sacred Sauna from the Sacred Living Center (bring a towel and swimsuit) Cost $25 per person $20 for Pacifica members $10/car for a land impact fee unless you are a Pacifica member ($50 or more for the year) and have a parking pass. (Parking on the property creates the need for maintenance and we hope to expand our parking lots in the future with this fund. It also allows us to hire people from the community to set up parking to preserve the beauty and integrity of Pacifica)
