First Saturday Bachata - Salsa Social

No charge entry! Grace Estate Winery has loved the Charlottesville dancers and socials se we now have established a regular monthly event, usually the first Saturday. Also, they've extended the end time one hour to 9:00pm! Join us Feb. 4th for another Latin social dance their lovely tasting room. Our community's friendly dancers have been sharing their joy of Latin social dancing for over 20 years, making everyone feel welcome. We want to help you learn and love Latin dance! To that end, we will get the social started with an introduction to Latin social dancing at 4:00pm. So, don't worry if you're new to Latin dances, we'll have you ready to dance all night. Charlottesville Salsa Club dance community, we need your help to keep this monthly social going and to grow our community by supporting our newest dancers; remember your beginnings! After learning the basics, the best practice is dancing with experienced leads and follows. You're welcome to bring a picnic and non-alcoholic beverages; they've lots of picnic tables too. GEW has fresh baguettes and cheese and other ready made goodies and don't forget their estate wines. Dj Butchata always creates an eclectic mix to inspire your dancing, and the Bose L1 Pro PA will have you feeling that beat! This is a rain or shine event with both indoor and outdoor dance areas.
