First Sunday Blues River Street Six Takeover

This month, Tiger Moan members Michael Valdez and Erica Risti take the stage with their swing band, The River Street Six, for a night of swing and blues to keep the First Sunday dancing, community, and good times rolling. Dance lesson at 7pm included; no partner required. River Street Six are musicians, Lindy Hop dancers, and friends with a shared passion for early jazz and swing music. The band first came together in 2021, in an attic overlooking the eponymous street- before quickly growing to fill the living room and kitchen as well. Since their founding, River Street Six have been privileged to play for audiences all over the greater Boston area. They also regularly appear as a featured band at Boston Swing Central and Boston Lindy Hop events. RS6 is excited to play some new repertoire specially chosen for blues dancers.
