Address : Milana Butkovica 2 , Rijeka1st floor About Flor Argento : Flor Argento (1976, Buenos Aires) is a professional dancer and Tango teacher for more than twenty-five years, curator and producer. She studied History at the University of Buenos Aires. She teaches Tango in various areas, among which two emblematic milongas of Buenos Aires stand out: Milonga Parakultural and El Beso, where she created and directed her own tango school, Besos Brujos Tango Escuela (2013-2019). She was part of the Ballet School ACETA (Academy of Argentine Tango Styles) of the Ministry of Culture of the Argentine Nation. She made twenty-one tours in Europe in the main tango circuits in Italy, France, Bellgium, Hollande, Slovenie, Germany and Spain. Trained as a dancer, she worked and gave classes with renowned milongueros from the Golden Age of Tango, such as NĆ©lida Fernando, Pupi Castello, Toto Faraldo, Tete Rusconi and also with Carlos Gavito. Transmitting this knowledge of dance to future generations of dancers is part of her mission as a teacher and part of her artistic project to preserve the living heritage of Argentine culture in relation to tango. In 2017, she curated and produced Última Tanda: Milongueras y Milongueros de Buenos Aires, a multimedia exhibition that has been traveling between Buenos Aires, Europe and the United States since 2018. She is currently developing the virtual exhibition Vivir de Noche, a living heritage project on the essence of tango dance and the transmission of the secrets and "yeites" of dance between generations of milongueros. In April/May/June 2023, she will make her 22nd European tour in France, Belgium, Italy, Austria, Slovenia and Croatia.
