Those of you who have already attended Joanna’s classes, know that they have a very different vibe from other courses offered in London. Comfort, connection, mutual respect and technique are the priorities. In this course we are going to explore many things that are mentioned in the plan that you find below. You will be able to practice and expand some of the most popular moves in Brazilian Zouk these days. Zouk is evolving quickly and being able to adapt to some changes is crucial. We want you to have many magical dances. This time, in order to deliver you the best possible experience Joanna invited Jordan Fraser to help her with the course. Jordan is a great and well experienced dancer and he does both - leads and follows which is super helpful. We love the way he decomposes each movement to understand it in a more precise way. Those who danced with him know what we mean :) We are very excited about this collaboration and delivering you some, hopefully awesome and useful classes. She has a very clear understanding of human motor skills and constantly educates herself in new techniques. She has taught dance in over 30 countries, and has been teaching, performing, and dancing her heart out at international zouk festivals for over 12 years. She pioneered zouk in Poland in 2011 in Warsaw, and she is a qualified judge of the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council. She has taught zouk together with Pasty, Kamacho, and William dos Santos, and in recent years found success and immense pride in teaching popular solo follower classes at international festivals, attracting zoukers wanting to learn her unique and expressive style of dancing in order to enhance their partner dancing. Her methodology combines a high level of technique with expression and playfulness. Ever since, he has dedicated himself to peeling back the layers of the dance to understand it on an ever deeper level. Jordan enjoys both leading and following and believes that a deep understanding of technique lays the foundation for connection, flow and creativity. He loves to break movements down into their component parts and recombine them to create something new.
