I’m very excited because this time 2 wonderful teachers, Oeslle & Ola, are teaming up with me to make all the classes very special and joyful. This semester we will be focusing on technique and flow. This course will definitely help you to improve your leading & following, your flow & connection and you willl keep up with new trends in zouk. As some of you may know, my classes are quite different from other courses offered in the London scene. During 8 weeks we will bond and work together in a very friendly and enjoyable atmosphere. We will work a lot with breathing and feeling. Comfort, cozines, embrace, connection and mutual respect are the priorities. Find out more about our team :) About Joanna Joanna Zwierzyńska is a professional dancer, internationally qualified dance coach, dance judge, choreographer, and actress. She has a very clear understanding of human motor skills and constantly educates herself in new techniques. She has taught dance in over 30 countries, and has been teaching, performing, and dancing her heart out at international zouk festivals for over 12 years. She pioneered zouk in Poland in 2011 in Warsaw, and she is a qualified judge of the Brazilian Zouk Dance Council. She has taught zouk together with Pasty, Kamacho, and William dos Santos, and in recent years found success and immense pride in teaching popular solo follower classes at international festivals, attracting zoukers wanting to learn her unique and expressive style of dancing in order to enhance their partner dancing. Her methodology combines a high level of technique with expression and playfulness. They started their partnership in June 2022 and today they spread their knowledge locally and internationally at many festivals including Warsaw Zouk Festival, Stokholm Lambada Festival, Beach Festival Barcelona, Transylvania Zouk Festival. This year they also organised first edition of Lamba London Weekender. Ola is a Brazilian Zouk and Lambada instructor, and dancer with over 18 years of experience in dancing. She was a member of the WARSAW ZOUK COMPANY, whose show was presented at the largest European festivals - Madrid Zouk Bachata Congress, ZoukTime Brno, and Warsaw Brasil Festival. She is a physiotherapist by profession, which is why she pays attention to conscious and safe work with the body. What she appreciates the most in Brazilian Zouk is the variety of emotions, freedom, and musicality the dance brings in. Oeslle is originally from Brazil and specializes in teaching Brazilian Zouk and Lambada. In 2017, he joined the studio Barracão da Dança where he was trained by Daniel Darbello, Matheus Franco, and Nina Darbello. Oeslle is also a researcher that works with AI for bra imaging. He is very analytical and uses a lot of brain hacks to teach and develop his dance. He loves the freedom he can find in Brazilian Zouk and also values a lot all the structure of Lambada.
