Flow Dance Solo Workshop by Zouk Elements

There will be two workshops as follows: ❥ 3pm - 4:30pm Flow Solo Dance Workshop (1.5hrs) ❥ 4:30pm - 7pm Flow Partner Dance Workshop (2.5hrs) ---------------------------------- About Flow Solo Dance Workshop ---------------------------------- 1.5hr of the workshop that we are hosting is a gathering event to awake and restore your flow with dance and songs. A space to (re)connect your essence as a powerful and a creative being. If you are someone who is often feeling burned out and always having to be on the go… it’s time to say hello, Fearless Flow! There will be Zouk/Flow, contact improvisation and connection dance techniques. We will together explore what it means to be “danced from within” by enjoying your own flow, body rolls, waves, and feather-like movement & connection techniques, to help unravel the sensuality and wisdom of the body. 🎶The music in the workshop will vary from Zouk remixes, to Acoustic, Meditation, & down-tempo music like psybient, psychill, chillstep, chill-out, tribal music. - No Dance Experience Necessary, - Dress up as you like, - Wear comfortable shoes, or socks or even barefoot if you feel so. Their background is zouk, however this workshop will not be about the fundamentals of Brazilian Zouk dance. Instead they will be working with the connection, and creative flow which will enhance your experience in all partner dance styles. They will start with basic line-ups, stretching, hip&upper body isolations, and body rolls within flow principles and will be exercised individually. Once everybody starts dancing in partners, they will create the improvised movements based on their flow&connection method and show different ways of connection (frame. Frameless, invisible frame, body lead, etc) Then they will invite partners to explore in how they can connect & dance together and create their own flow & figures in endless possibilities. Throughout the workshop, Artül+Kraken will intensify your ability for connection & creativity through dance & music. You will learn how to lead in a way where you can continuously be conscious of your partner's response & sensitivity; which will result in listening to each other more, creating new figures together, connecting in a smoother and more interactive way. The music in the workshop will vary from Accapella, Meditation music, psychedelic, & down-tempo music like psybient, psychill, chillstep, chill-out, tribal music. Acoustic, ambient-Dubbed .and not be limited to only Brazilian Zouk music. Everybody who loves to dance are welcome. They love to share their extensive experience about partner dancing in general, and Zouk Flow & Connection specifically. In order to spread their love for dance, they travel abroad and continue developing themselves as teachers and as dancers. They are passionate about how dance, music and the elements can help people achieve a deeper connection into ones true self, and of course a happier and more balanced self.
