Flying Workshop

Old school contact improv—-flying Watch the early contact, they experimented a lot with jumping at each other. I also did that in the 80s and the Flying workshops began that way. With the mats at Athletic Playground we will revisit/revive those first experiments. On Monday we will document the process with video; which will be available. The workshop We will develop our flying skills and jamming with somatic and contact exercises. Often the contact type acrobatics relate to classic acrobatics and acro-yoga. It’s awesome when people bring those skills and it’s fascinating to see how a contact approach (with clear differences) can extend these forms fluidly into contact connection and continuity.
