Focus Point Workshops... The Next Level! Are you ready for a challenge? Do you want to push your skills and dancing boundaries? Would you like to work towards performing? This workshop is a basis for all of the above and if you feel like it is for you then why not come along ;) This workshop is aimed for Intermediate to Advanced dancers (2-3 yrs +) as it will entail fast paced progression and you must have a sound understanding and knowledge of everything that is learned in previous levels of Salsa. This is the next step up guys! Expect to drill complicated and challenging turn patterns, perfect spinning techniques, add smooth shines and styling within dancing. The aim is to raise your level of dancing, to execute with precision and confidence on the social dance floor but also with the possibility of creating a performance showcase for anyone who would be interested. Workshop Breakdown: First hour will have us warm up with body isolation drills to funky Reggaeton tunes before moving onto controlled movements, spinning techniques and some slick shines and footwork. Second hour will concentrate on a challenging turn pattern which will include hand flicks, fast paced breaks and smooth movements which could be used at a performance level. We will also integrate the footwork and shines from the first hour to make an all together wicked dance piece! If interested please private message me (Darran Brady) about booking your space.
