Follow the Flow 3 days contact improvisation workshop Fundamental Skills of Contact Improvisation. 9 to 11 October 10 am to 1 pm Pai, Thailand Main focus of this program - fundamental principals of Contact Improvisation, so it would be perfect for those who just starting their journey of exploring CI. I intentionally avoid word basic, since principals can lead us far, especially if we have some participants who already dance contact improv for a while. It will be fun, playful, full of silence and connectedness. We will get to know what is dancing inside of our being and let it guide us into the flow. This is the intention. What will be reality I never know myself before I see actual participants and let something to be born out of our collective presence =) Come to start, come to continue. DM to register: WA/TG: +918459303211 About facilitator: Ivan Gurianov - facilitator of contact improvisation since 2018, teacher & co-organiser of international residencies & workshops, performer, multidisciplinary artist. As a child Ivan practiced acrobatics & football. From 2005 was practicing yoga & meditation. At the same time, Ivan started to learn different schools of western and eastern philosophy and spiritual teachings. Since 2007 to 2009 studied martial arts. Ivan has been trained in different modern dance styles: butoh, hip-hop, popping, house, jazz funk, contemporary dance, tango. Other movement practices that he studied: Ideokinesis, Axis Syllabus & Movement Culture & Flow Arts. For the first time Ivan encountered contact improvisation in 2013, and has been teaching contact improvisation since 2018. He has been facilitating Contact Improvisation in Russia, India, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam & China and organizing international courses and residencies. Ivan is passionate to acquire new knowledge about movement & arts, integrating every piece of knowledge into his practice of CI. His unique characteristic is curiosity for self research through direct experience and analytical approach to the movement.
