Argentine tango dancer Antonella Terrazas will be visiting Helsinki for the second time, after being here for Frostbite 2017. In this opportunity, we'll have the chance to have two 1,5 hours workshops specifically focused on followers' technique. This is a great opportunity to refine your technique, train and improve your tango with a world-class master. No need to come with a partner. Her love for dancing started when she was five years old, studying many disciplines such as ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, aerial dance, folk dances, musical, stage tango and salon. She has lived and worked with Tango in Italy for five years, later in Moscow where she worked with Sebastian Arce in his academy, also training couples for the European and World Tango championships. Nowadays Antonella lives in Hungary, Budapest, where she owns her studio Tango House. At the same time, she is featured in Tangomeet.com, the online platform where people can learn Tango from few of the best teachers in the world. In her workshops, Antonella combines all different sources of knowledge, caring mainly about the quality of movement. Her goal as a teacher is to give everything she knows and she has, applying different ways of teaching for each student to develop the dance. She is a demanding teacher but also very playful, clear and precise, her background as a technical dancer provides her of simple examples that students can follow easily.
